Put The Lime In The Coconut

And drink it all up!! This TSF original libation was inspired by cookies, as well as the song. It's refreshing and boozey, and makes you feel like you're on vacation.

  1. Prepare hurricane glass by filling with cracked ice.
  2. Fill mixing glass with ice.
  3. Pour in all ingredients.
  4. Shake mixture vigorously until shaking can frosts over.
  5. Strain mixture into prepared rocks glass.
  6. Garnish with lime wedge dipped in toasted coconut.

You can serve this in whatever glass you want, but I liked the idea of using a hurricane glass for a few reasons. First of all, hurricane cocktails are jam packed with fruit juices and booze, and so is this baby. Secondly, hurricane glasses aren't commonly used for many other cocktails, so if you happen to own any, they likely don't get much action, and that just makes me sad.

If you can drink this without dancing around your kitchen Practical Magic style, you're dead inside.
